For five unforgettable months, Grace called Seville home, truly living like a local. She experienced the magic of Semana Santa by taking part in a traditional procession, learned how to cook Spanish favorites like paella, gazpacho, and other local dishes, explored beautiful places across Spain, wore both a traditional flamenco dress and the beautiful regional costume from Extremadura, and embraced every opportunity to discover Spanish culture. What made her experience even more special was her incredible host family. While they were welcoming Grace into their home, their own daughter, Goya, was spending her exchange year in the USA. An international exchange in both directions! And before Grace returned home, Goya arrived back in Spain just in time for them to finally meet and spend time together—a truly unforgettable moment.
